Large Commercial Rate Schedule
APPLICABILITY:
Applicable to member-consumers with multi-phase service with billing demands of 30 kW or more in six months in the calendar year preceding the billing month but who do not qualify for service at the Large Power rate. This rate will be applicable to new member-consumer whose estimated billing demands are between 30 kW and 200 kW.
This rate will be applicable to present member-consumers served at the Large Power rate whose billing demands have been lower than 200 kW for a 12-month period and are not expected to exceed 200kW in the future.
CHARGES:
Fixed Facilities Charge: $75.00
Demand Charge: $11.30/kW
Energy Charge: $0.055/kWh
DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMAND:
The billing demand shall be the maximum kW demand established by the member-consumer for any period of 15 consecutive minutes during the month for which the bill is rendered as indicated by or recorded by a demand meter.
MINIMUM MONTHLY CHARGE:
If a member-consumer is served by a transformer with a capacity in excess of 75 kVA, the minimum monthly charge is $1.00 per kVA. Otherwise, the minimum monthly charge is $75.00.
POWER FACTOR CLAUSE:
The member-consumer shall maintain a power factor at time of substation peak of not less than 95% lagging. If the member-consumer’s power factor at time of peak load is less than 95% lagging, the kilowatt charges for such period under this schedule shall be increased by 1% for each 1% by which the power factor for such period is below 95% lagging.
DUE DATE AND LATE PAYMENT CHARGE:
The due date for all bills is twenty (20) days after their deposit in the U.S. Mail with postage prepaid, and is printed on bills. Non-receipt of a bill by the member-consumer shall not release or diminish the obligation of the member-consumer to make payment in full, including late payment charges, if any. When payment is not made by the due date, a late payment charge of 1-1/2% per month of the past due will apply. Payments received by mail that are postmarked on r before the due date but that are received after the due date will be accepted without late payment charge.
SALES TAX:
Sales tax will be added to the charged calculated under this rate.
