How to Read Your Tank Gauge
Propane tanks can only be filled to 80% to allow for heat expansion. In the summer, they may only be filled to 70% or 75% when the temperature outside is much warmer.
Numbers indicate the percentage of gar remaining in the tank.
Look at the gauge attached to the tank with numbers from 5 to 95. Don't confuse it with the pressure gauge, with numbers from 0 to 300.
