Pole Top Rescue Training

Once a year, Access Energy Cooperative linemen undergo safety training exercises in pole top rescuing as an annual OSHA mandated safety training course.  Pole top rescue teaches the skills necessary to save another person’s life in emergency situations. This course includes both classroom training and hands-on experience of rigging, lifting and lowering victims down from elevated heights.
