Energy Efficient LED Lighting

January 07, 2009
When decorating this holiday season keep in mind, LED lights are very
efficient to use and save you    money on your electric bill.

They are made from flame-proof plastic epoxy and emit colored or white lights using a small chip similar to those in your computer.
There is no flimsey filament or breakable glass bulb, making the “one goes out and they all go out” conundrum a thing of the past.
The cost of operation is much less.LED lights are drastically more energy efficient than the traditional C-7 light typical of both indoor and outdoor. Christmas LED lights only require .04 watts per bulb and almost all of that energy goes toward the production of light.

There is no unnecessary heat produced—a safety hazard of conventional lighting. And the LED lights are cool to touch.
We can run a lot more light
on one circuit and they are much brighter.

The price may be a little higher but the savings and life expectancy of bulbs are worth every penny spent. The LED bulbs are 90% more efficient and have a life span of 100,000 hours.
