A day-long celebration conducted on the Saturday before the fourth of July in South Park, from 4pm-10pm. An estimated 6,000 fans and visitors (including extended families) enjoyed the 2005 event which included entertainment, games for children, and one of the largest fireworks displays in the area. Sandwiches, beer, soft drinks, chips, funnel cakes, cotton candy and caramel apples are sold. Baseball/softball games are held. Point of contact is Greg Stuekerjuergen at (319) 837-6532.
