Where Does Your Coop’s Money Go?

This graph reflects how your dollars are expected to be spent during 2006. The cost to purchase power is the largest expenditure; with increases in fossil fuel costs driving a rate increase from our power supplier, cost of purchased power will continue to increase. The remainder of the budget is spent on operating your local electric cooperative, including system improvements. These expenses are directly related to achieving our mission of exceeding our member’s expectations of providing safe, reliable and efficient service.
