Access Energy Cooperative Honored for Economic Development Leadership

Access Energy Cooperative was recognized at the Northeast Missouri Electric Power Cooperative’s annual meeting in Palmyra, Missouri for their economic development accomplishments and commitment to their local communities.  Access Energy Cooperative has been instrumental and supportive of numerous development projects in southeast Iowa.  In recognition of their leadership and support Access Energy was presented an IADG System Award for Project Development for their involvement and assistance with the Fluoro-Seal project in Mount Pleasant and also the Cambridge Research Investment Group in Fairfield.  The cooperative participated in the efforts to erect the 50,000 sq.ft. spec building in the Crossroads Industrial Park in Mount Pleasant that attracted the Fluoro-Seal company to locate a plastics coating operation in the community.  

Access Energy also assisted Cambridge Research Investment located in Fairfield.  The cooperative is teaming up with IADG, and the USDA to help facilitate a 40,000 sq.ft. expansion of an office complex that will accommodate another 100 employees to their corporate campus.  Construction will begin later this year.
