Three Scholarships Available in 2010

The Access Energy Cooperative Board of Directors has announced that the cooperative will once again be offering a $500 academic scholarship to one student in each of the cooperative’s three districts, for a total of $1500. Qualifying applicants must be high school seniors who will be receiving post-secondary education and whose parents or legal guardians are members of the cooperative.

Application forms can be picked up at all area high school guidance offices after Dec. 15, or the Access Energy Cooperative office. Applications are also available in the youth section of our website to submit on-line, or download and submit it to our office.

Applications will be judged based on the following: 10% academics, 10% involvement in extra-curricular activities and other groups or community organizations, and 80% on a written essay. Applications and essays will be due back in the cooperative office by March 15, 2010.
