Poster Contest Winners

Twelve students from southeast Iowa were chosen as Access Energy Cooperative Poster Contest winners. These students will receive a $50 savings bond from Access Energy.

The poster contest focused on two themes: energy conservation/efficiency and renewable sources of energy such as wind, biomass and solar. The contest was designed to enhance education of Iowa students regarding these very important issues to Iowa.

Receiving $50 Savings Bonds as winners of the Cooperative-sponsored contest were:
First Grade: Mary Le and Gerardo Geddarrama, Van Allen Elementary
Second Grade: Enzo Mazza, Washington Elementary in Fairfield and Logan Lee, Salem Elementary
Third Grade: Bailey Seegers and Yorke Prough, Van Allen Elementary
Fourth Grade: Chloe Kruse and Larry Heitmeier, Salem Elementary
Fifth Grade: Savannah Jolowski and Ellie Rynder, Mount Pleasant Christian
Sixth Grade: Rachel Lane and Rosie McVey, Mount Pleasant Christian
