Eleven students were selected as winners in the Access Energy Poster Contest and they will each be receiving a $50 savings bond, as well as having their posters entered in the statewide competition. There they will have a chance to win a trophy and a $100 savings bond. The winning statewide posters will be mounted on the Traveling Energy Art Gallery and displayed throughout the state.
The poster contest focused on two themes: energy efficiency and renewable energy and was designed to enhance education of Iowa students regarding these very important issues to Iowa.
