Reliability
Access Energy Cooperative's Engineering and Operations Departments continue to provide our members with the high quality, reliable service you want. Preparation to keep your lights on during those spring storms and winter blizzards begins long before the clouds begin to form. Our Reliability Plan incorporates three critical areas to provide the high level of service you enjoy today. By performing yearly pole testing, line maintenance and tree trimming we will be able to continue to provide reliable service far into the future.
If a Security Light is Out
Is your security Light on the blink or out? Here's what to do.
Tree Trimming
A primary cause of power outages is trees contacting power lines. Access Energy Cooperative makes every effort to provide you with safe and reliable electric service. To provide safe uninterrupted service it is necessary to trim trees when they are located too close to power lines. This section tells you why tree trimming is important for reliability.
Restoring Power After a Storm
Mother Nature doesn't always follow rules. This section tells you how we restore power and what YOU should do.
Line Maintenance
Each year we inspect ten percent of our system looking for problems that could cause an outage in the future. To see when we will be in your area just click here.
Meter Testing
Access Energy Cooperative routinely tests our meters to maintain that they are accurate. If you are questioning your meter, here's what to do.
