Annual Meeting of Members

AUGUST 4, 2026

All members are invited and encouraged to attend the annual meeting of members each year. The meeting is held on the 1st Tuesday in August, with activities starting at 5:00 pm. The business meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends with prize drawings. Voting for directors is an important part of the annual meeting, as members select who will represent their district on the board. Voting packets are mailed at the same time that online voting becomes available in early July. Each year, a name is drawn from the members who voted online, and another name is drawn from the members who mailed a ballot in. A $100 bill credit will be awarded to winners of each of these drawings.
 

What to expect at the annual meeting of members

  1. At the annual meeting, stop at the registration booth under the grandstands to:
    1. Register for the meeting.
    2. Get your free gift and tote bag.
    3. Vote for directors.
    4. Get your dividend check.
    5. Get your meal tickets.
    6. Pick up a 2027 Access Energy Calendar
  2. Meal Tickets are required to receive a meal.
    1. Pick up your meal tickets at the registration booth when you register for the meeting BEFORE you get in line for a meal.
    2. Tell them at the booth how many are attending with you to receive the number of meal tickets you will need.
       
  3. The Access Energy Cooperative calendars will not be mailed due to postage costs. They can be picked up at the annual meeting in the registration booth, or at our office after the meeting until they run out.
     
  4. Voting materials.
    1. The voting materials for the election of directors will be mailed July 7th in a regular sized envelope and will also contain your registration and dividend cards.
    2. Your annual report will be included in the July edition of the Living With Energy as an insert in the middle, you will not receive one with your voting materials.
