Residential Rebates

The following are the rebates currently available for qualifying purchases by members of Access Energy Cooperative. To download a rebate application to submit, click on the appropriate link in the box below.

Rebates for less than $250 will be applied as a bill credit to member's account.

Rebates are only available to service locations that use more than 6000 kilowatt-hours on an annual basis (eligible services include lake homes, shops, barns, etc.).

Heat Pump Rebates

  • Air source heat pumps 17.2 SEER2 – $250 per ton Download

  • Mini-split air source heat pumps 17.2 SEER2 – $250 per ton Download

  • Ground source heat pumps 19.1 EER (indoor unit & loops) – $750 per ton Download

  • Ground source heat pumps 19.1 EER (replacing indoor unit only) – $400 per ton Download
    -Replacement heat pump must be a gain of 3 EER rating points to qualify.

  • Basement/crawlspace insulation in conjunction with installing a new ground source heat pump – 50% of cost, up to $500 Download

Residential rebate for ground source heat pumps is capped at 10 tons.

Energy Efficient Appliance Rebates

  • Electric water heater, new construction – $250 Download

  • Electric water heater replacing gas water heater – $250 Download

  • Electric water heater replacing electric water heater – $250 Download

  • Heat pump water heater, new construction or replacing gas or electric water heater – up to $700 Download

  • Advanced thermostat – $50 Download

  • Level 2 Electric Vehicle charging station - 50% the cost of charger, up to $250 Download

Water heaters must be 40 gallon or larger. Tankless water heaters are not eligible.

Rebate for Energy Efficiency Home Improvements

Must be improvements recommended by an energy audit conducted by an Access Energy Cooperative representative. Please call our office or click here to learn more about an energy audit.
